"“Michael and his team undertook a refurbishment of our house during lockdown last year. The project involved a lot demolition, a new kitchen, three new bathrooms, a utility room, changing a staircase, swapping around usage of upstairs rooms and then lots of finishing like bookcases and shelving. We really can’t think of enough good things to say about the way the whole project was handled and how it turned out: First, Michael and his team were always so friendly, good humoured, open minded and flexible. They were punctual and incredibly hard working. Everything was finished to time and where there were small unexpected hiccups, they were dealt with positively and creatively. Second, the work and craftsmanship itself was excellent. The finish on all aspects of the project was impressive and his team really do pay a lot of attention to detail. Any last minute snagging (of which there were only a few little things) was sorted out very quickly and happily. Third, the living space that was created, in tandem with the excellent architect Kate Samad, exceeded our expectations. Michael worked seamlessly with Kate - no friction, a really great team, and this meant the project delivered exactly what we wanted. Fourth, the project came in on budget. Michael was completely reliable, easy to get hold of and took total responsibility for everything that happened on site and throughout the build. He always did what he said he was going to do, did it when he said he was going to do it and did it all for the budget we had agreed. If we do any future projects we will be asking Michael to do it. We would recommend Michael and his team to anyone undertaking a building project big or small”
